Italian Roast Recipe

Italian Roast Recipe

  • 2-3 t Italian Roast Seasoning
  • 3 lb Roast (Eye of Round or Sirloin Tip Roast works well)
  • 4-5 Garlic cloves (Optional)
  • Splash of olive oil in pan
  • 2 T butter
Pour olive oil into baking pan adding garlic cloves if desired. Spread seasoning on all six sides of roast. Cut slices of butter and lay on top of roast. Bake covered in 350 oven for 15 minutes per lb. Uncover to brown. Let roast rest for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.

For accurate doneness, use a meat thermometer and roast to desired doneness.
